Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta e San Berardo, Teramo, Italy
Solemn mass with liturgical music from late Ars Nova. Currentes´ contribution to the high mass in Teramo this Sunday is part of a festival commemorating the 600th anniversary of the death of Antonio Zacara da Teramo (ca1365-1416). Currentes will perform alongside Micrologus and Ensemble Leones. The concerts will be repeated in Norway (see sep 18th, below), and in Germany in 2017. Currentes will perform music for an early 15th century mass. The ordinary is taken from the manuscript Bologna Q15, where Zacara´s Credo and Gloria are surrounded by Kyrie, Sanctus and Agnus Dei by Guillaume Dufay. The proper of the mass will be sung partially as plainchant and partially with improvised polyphony or settings by Currentes.

As in Rudersholm, once again Currentes will share a concert with a pianist specialised in cotemporary music. The brilliant Ingfrid Breie Nyhus will perform works by Torvund, Schaatun and Thoresen. Currentes will perform works by Ruben S. Gjertsen and Alwynne Pritchard and maybe, just maybe, some late Medieval songs.
